About
I deliver compassionate and contained therapy sessions to individuals suffering from psychological (mental) illness. I am fortunate to have a wealth of experience as a psychologist, psychoanalyst and psychotherapist to assist me in giving science and evidence-based therapy sessions to my patients. When the ill health is not in the conscious, I dig deeper into the unconscious to find the pathology, whatever is diagnosed or hidden. My approaches encompass the patient's pathology. I support patients with trauma and complex trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), personality disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, dementia, schizophrenia, addictions and in finding meaning and hope. I believe that feedback from patients I have seen and still see is valuable. Their views on how I practise benefit our sessions, our journey, and my continuous personal and professional development, so I am up to date with latest research and regulations on my patients.
Position at Priory
I joined Priory in 2022 as a cognitive behavioural therapist (CBT) and integrative therapist at Priory Hospital Roehampton and on the child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) service at Priory Hospital Hayes Grove.
As an autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) assessor, with my psychology background, I can support patients with traits and new diagnoses and adapt treatments accordingly. I use CBT and integrative approaches, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems, psychoanalysis, the Jungian approach and psychology. I work closely with my colleague psychiatrists at Roehampton. I can use my science-based training, education and skills with the psychotic patients that are referred to me.
Training
I have always been interested in therapeutic psychology. Upon completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Psychotherapy, I started and successfully completed my MSc in Psychology. I carried on my work as a therapist, specialising in trauma, abuse, OCD, depression, anxiety, and neurodevelopmental pathologies.
In June 2024, I completed my PhD in Analytic Psychology.
I have membership with the British Psychological Society (BPS), the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
I completed my PhD in Analytic Psychology in June 2024.
