About
I am an enthusiastic integrative cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) therapist with a Master of Science (MSc) in Counselling and Psychology. I have been practising for over 15 years and I am registered and accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Throughout this time, I have accomplished studies in many different modalities (see below) as well as CBT, for which I have developed an immense passion for. These studies, along with my own unique therapeutic reflection and experience, have given me knowledge of techniques and concepts, but how we work is something that’s discussed and agreed when I am with my client.
I believe I am an adaptable therapist who can reflect and work with clients’ needs, using my knowledge and experience gained from my training, to offer a personal integrative approach to each individual.
I have worked in many different psychotherapeutic fields, including the NHS, working within the community, GP practices, health centre hubs, hospitals and nursing homes, and in private occupational health companies providing therapy through employee assistance programmes (EAPs).
I also have experience working with multi-agency risk assessment conferences (MARAC), giving support to the community and working with different races, backgrounds, ages and presenting issues. I value diversity and I am committed to empowering myself and others.
Position at Priory
I have been working with the Priory Wellbeing Centre Manchester team since 2022. Within my role, I work interactively with other therapists and consultant psychiatrists.
