About
Angeline is a highly skilled humanistic therapist. She is an accredited member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with over 20 years’ experience. Angeline is also trained in eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, having completed the level 1-3 accredited EMDR Europe course. She has a certificate in third wave cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT). She is also trained in couples therapy and children and adolescent humanistic therapy.
Angeline is particularly passionate about working with complex trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and has over 20 years’ experience in this area of work. She has helped numerous clients to reduce their symptoms of anxiety, low mood, bodily sensations, nightmares, and avoidant behaviours such as addiction and relationship difficulties.
Angeline gained experience working in mental health in a variety of services, including private practice, forensic settings, schools, colleges, in the community, charitable organisations, alongside children’s services, and within child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). She has, more recently, been specialising in working with emergency services personnel and has delivered evidence-based trauma therapy.
Position at Priory
Angeline is an integrative/EMDR therapist at Priory Wellbeing Centre Southampton. She is humanistic in her approach and uses different therapeutic techniques and skills, drawn from a variety of therapeutic modalities.
