About
I am an integrative psychotherapist. I work across a range of modalities, including rational emotive behaviour therapy (REBT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), parts work, hypnotherapy and interpersonal therapy (IPT). I believe it’s important to address the underlying cause first and then to add in evidence-based approaches, which is why I lean towards an integrative style in my practice. It also allows for adaptability, depending on the patient and the presenting issue(s). In addition to the modern psychological modalities, I am also trained in some of the ancient spiritual practices and mindfulness work.
Presenting issues I cover include anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, general stress and addiction.
I initially got into psychology as a way to heal my own internal trauma, which was presenting as fairly severe anxiety as well as OCD.
As well as working for Priory I also have a private practice on Harley Street. In addition, I regularly contribute towards psychology articles for various media outlets. I was a speaker at the UK’s largest wellness festival, Wellnergy, in 2024 and I regularly host psychology workshops, including a recent series at Soho House.
Position at Priory
I am a sessional integrative psychotherapist. I have worked for Priory since September 2021. I work at Priory Hospital Roehampton, Wimbledon Park Clinic and remotely. The skills and experience I have learnt during my time so far have been invaluable for my career as a psychotherapist. I really appreciate the wonderfully supportive team spirit cultivated at Priory. I believe this not only helps the team here to grow and flourish, but in doing so, directly supports patients.
Training
I attended Regents University in central London, where I obtained a postgraduate certificate in counselling and psychotherapy in 2018. I then went onto do three diplomas in REBT, which is a deeper style of CBT. I trained with Paul McKenna in hypnotherapy in 2022. Most recently I trained in theta healing in 2024. Psychology is my passion and continued professional development is important to me.
