About
Dr Diwakar Sukul is a chartered clinical psychologist, trained in evidence-based psychological therapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). He also studied hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and thought field therapy. He pioneered the concept of multidimensional healthcare, mind body harmonics and mind body connective therapy (MBCT) to offer holistic or integrated psychological therapies to his patients.
His integrated approach and deeper understanding of the mind from eastern and western perspectives help patients recover quickly. His sessions involve an in-depth assessment of the causative factors of the emotional/mental health problems to offer a solution-oriented approach to his clients. He believes in empowering his clients and will share several healing techniques to help them heal. He will discuss the line of treatment after an in-depth assessment of his clients. He is also an adjunct professor at NTPC School of Business.
Position at Priory
Dr Sukul has been a consultant clinical psychologist at Priory since 2019. He is an associate fellow and chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS)and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a clinical psychologist.
