Kate Worsdall left NHS medicine in 2007 and subsequently set up a private practice. Now she sees outpatients in various settings and her inpatient practice is at Priory Hospital Hayes Grove.
Dr Worsdall treats most general adult psychiatry mental health conditions such as: depression, postnatal depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), alcohol misuse, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
Training
Dr Kate Worsdall trained at Bristol University and first started training in psychiatry following her house jobs.
She joined a training scheme in Ascot and Slough and then went on to join the Charing Cross Hospital rotation scheme before becoming a Specialist Registrar within the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Rotation. She trained in numerous posts including substance misuse and also a post in forensic psychiatry alongside treating general conditions in general adult psychiatry.
Following accreditation, Dr Kate Worsdall worked within the Penge and Bromley area as a Consultant Psychiatrist and after children moved to work near Guildford, doing both general adult psychiatry and looking after the Intensive Care Unit and also the Community Forensic Services.
