Ellie is an integrative psychotherapist, and draws from a range of different areas to tailor the therapy to the unique needs of the individual. Ellie aims to provide a non-judgemental and compassionate space for exploration of the patient’s difficulties, to explore their problems and work together to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and consider alternative perspectives and ways of being.
Position at Priory
Ellie started working at Priory Hospital Hayes Grove in October 2023. Ellie is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and accredited with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Her responsibilities are to provide psychological assessments to individuals, and to provide both one-to-one and group therapy to patients, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Training
Ellie’s training, both her MA and post-graduate certificate, was in psychodynamic and humanistic psychotherapy at Regents University London, working with clients through the lens of these various modalities.
Ellie has completed various training, such as neuroscience and anxiety, understanding eating disorders, basics of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and introduction to art therapy.
