About
As a therapist, my primary goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour without fear of judgement or shame. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and my role is to help you identify and overcome the obstacles that are preventing you from living your best life. I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, recognising that mental health is closely connected to physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
While I am trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), and compassion-focused approaches, I also recognise that each person's journey is unique. I have extensive experience in working with psychological difficulties and specialise in working with presentations such as obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD0 and trauma.
One of the key components of therapy is learning to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviour that are holding you back. I will work with you to develop new coping strategies that will empower you to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Whether you are dealing with past trauma, current stressors, or simply seeking personal growth, I can support you.
