About
I am a fully qualified cognitive behavioural therapist and I work primarily from a cognitive and behavioural perspective, aiming to create a warm, safe, supportive relationship based on empathy, acceptance and openness. With a foundation in the person-centred approach, I have additional training in compassion-focused therapy and schema therapy, and combine elements of these approaches with mindfulness and mindful self-compassion, to work in a creative way that is tailored to your individual needs.
I have extensive experience of working with a wide range of presentations.
Position at Priory
Cognitive behavioural therapist
I have worked with Priory since 2017. I worked full-time in the hospital for the first three years, working one-to-one with individual patients as well as taking group therapy sessions as part of the Groupwork programme. I then moved to hybrid working with a combination of face-to-face sessions in the hospital and remote video sessions.
Training
