About
Mrs Kinga Savage provides integrative counselling and facilitates group therapies for inpatients and outpatients at Priory Hospital Roehampton. Our patients’ presentations are often complex and need high sensitivity to unusual clusters of symptoms.
Kinga regularly assesses her patients’ progress and supports clinical consultants in providing treatment plans. She continues to gain experience working in the child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) units, acute psychiatric units, eating disorder units, addiction treatment programme and trauma recovery pathway.
Kinga can confidently liaise with the multidisciplinary teams, where consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, counselling therapists, dietitians, occupational therapists and psychiatric nurses establish the most appropriate, legal and ethical approach to individualised care. Maintaining close links with other support teams, such as the safeguarding team, GPs, social services, and the police force, is essential in her line of work.
