About
My name is Lilien and I am qualified and experienced psychotherapist. I would describe my work as integrative, combining person-centred, humanistic, relational psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques. I work with adults and with a diverse range of difficulties. I have special interests in substance misuse, trauma, phobias, depression, anxiety, grief and relationship difficulties. However, anything can be brought to therapy.
"I value individual difference, honesty, integrity, finding your own path, standing out from the crowd, connection and relationships. I strongly believe people can be empowered to find their own answers. I know that I am not a fixer, and I don't have all the answers, although I might have a suggestion or two. I know I am OK to sit with people in chaos. I can tolerate ‘stuckness’, I am not afraid to be afraid, nor walk in to a dark place."
