Louisa is a qualified integrative counsellor with experience of working with addictions, eating disorders and the 12-step programme. She has worked in the charity sector and with private clients. In her work, she draws on evidence-based modalities, including dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), along with mindfulness and emotion-focused therapy (EFT).

Louisa believes that within a safe and empowering relationship, everyone has the capacity to embrace change. Using a holistic approach, she works with clients to create an empathic, non-judgemental space that encourages growth.

Louisa’s areas of interest are ‘the family disease’ and generational trauma. She continues to pursue her own professional development, and has completed courses including:
