About
Marie is a kind, knowledgeable, dedicated and compassionate therapist with over 20 years’ experience.
Before working with Priory, Marie worked with alcohol addiction, supported women who had been sexually abused as children, worked in probation and GP settings, and worked with homeless people. She also lectured on counselling courses and provided therapy from her private practice.
Marie’s previous career was in banking, but after suffering a major life event, she felt compelled to retrain, and qualified as a therapist in 2005.
She offers her patients the time and space they need to explore their issues without fear of judgement. She is passionate about her work and making a positive difference to people’s lives.
Marie is an integrative therapist and she tailors her approach to the individual needs of the patient and their problem. She is also an eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, specialising in trauma.
Marie helps people with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, anger, childhood issues, bereavement, loss and abuse.
