About
I currently work as a cognitive behavioural therapist at Priory. I provide online therapy sessions.
What I bring to therapy is hope and understanding. My approach to therapy is to help it feel less formal as I believe it’s important to build a good rapport and therapeutic relationship together, in order to find out what benefits the people that I help.
I believe that everyone can feel different due to their own life experiences. Therefore, my therapy is tailored to what helps and benefits the person I am working with.
Position at Priory
I have been working for Priory for just under a year now and I am a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) therapist, accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
I work as an online therapist only. I provide sessions from 5pm to 6pm, and also to provide an option for people who may want to access therapy outside of their work hours.
Training
I hold an undergraduate degree in BSc Psychology as well as a MSc Health Psychology degree.
I have also trained as a low intensity cognitive behavioural therapist, as well as a high intensity cognitive behavioural therapist, completing postgraduate diplomas for both.
Early experiences and training also involved me working alongside people with neurodiversity impacts to their mental health and in a forensic setting.
