Nic is a highly qualified integrative therapist with a wealth of experience in supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, panic attacks and grief. With a focus on creating a safe, non-judgemental space, Nic provides a compassionate and professional environment for exploring emotions, thoughts and behaviours. Nic's therapeutic approach is pluralistic and integrated, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as person-centred therapy (PCT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). By tailoring sessions to meet individual needs, Nic helps clients identify and change unhelpful patterns, working collaboratively to set and achieve therapy goals.
Position at Priory
Nic is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a member of the Society for Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (SfDBT). Nic has been with Priory since September 2022, providing integrative and DBT therapy at Priory Hospitals Woking and Roehampton.
Training
Nic has completed extensive training in various therapeutic modalities, including PCT, CBT, and DBT. With a master's degree in psychotherapy, Nic is committed to continuous professional development (CPD) and stays up to date with the latest research and evidence-based techniques in psychotherapy.
