About
I have been practising as a therapist specialising in neurodivergence for 16 years, with both adults and children.
I became interested in neurodivergence around 22 years ago when my son was diagnosed as autistic and a few years later, my daughter was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). As a parent, I immersed myself in this world to help them build a better future and manage their barriers in education and the world around them.
As a therapist, this is fundamentally core to my beliefs and I endeavour to help the people I work with understand themselves better and to help manage any barriers they experience in dealing with the world around them, either at school, home or at work.
I work integratively and am able to use various modalities (including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)) to help people move forward to lead a more fulfilling life, to accept themselves and take off the mask.
