About
Rebecca offers psychotherapy and counselling. She works in an integrative way. This means she combines humanistic therapy, listening, being non-judgemental and reflecting back, short-term cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), results-based therapy and psychodynamic therapy, involving bringing thoughts into consciousness, and looking at childhood experiences and how they impact the client's world currently.
She has worked with individuals over several years, counselling people from a diverse range of circumstances. These include people experiencing relationship issues, family problems, self-esteem issues, bereavement, and any matter that’s affecting a person’s mental health, and preventing them from living a fulfilled and happy life. She has also worked with addiction and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
She worked in management for the airline industry for 35 years before re-training as a psychotherapist, and is therefore very knowledgeable about workplace issues and difficulties.
