Simi joined Life Works in 2023 and is one of the therapists who mainly works one-to-one within the eating disorder programme. She also facilitates groups within the eating disorder programme and the addiction treatment programme.
Position at Priory
Simi has experience of working with eating disorders, addictions, neurodivergence, trauma and a variety of mental health conditions. She has worked within mental health hospitals with NHS patients with eating disorders and personality disorders, in forensic settings, in schools and the charity sector. Simi works in an integrative manner drawing upon several modalities which are tailored to clients’ needs and goals. Simi uses modalities such as dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and third wave CBT models such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), gestalt therapy and creative therapies.
