Sophie will work alongside you to help you find your own answers to your challenges. She will support you to understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours through the way you see yourself, communicate with others and the way you perceive the world.
Sophie is a warm, relaxed and open therapist who develops and offers clients autonomy. She offers a trusting therapeutic relationship to support you during difficult times, to help you feel contentment, gain self-awareness and personal growth.
Sophie is experienced in working with a variety of different issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, family relationships, loss, grief, abuse, relationships, self-harm, neurodiversity and identity.
Sophie completed her professional training through Middlesex University. She is also trained to work with children and has many years’ experience working within the education setting.
Sophie is dedicated to continuing professional development (CPD) and attends courses regularly to maintain up to date knowledge and enhance her skill set.
Position at Priory
Sophie is a humanistic therapist trained in transactional analysis, and is a member of the Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
She has been working for Priory since January 2024.
