About
As a British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) accredited cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) therapist, I specialise in evidence-based treatments, utilising assessments, formulations and interventions tailored to the individual needs of clients. With a focus on delivering one-to-one CBT, I have extensive experience in addressing a spectrum of complex mental health issues, including generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), separation anxiety, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic, depression and low self-esteem.
Committed to continuous professional development (CPD), I've expanded my skill set through training and working within the fields of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), child psychodynamic psychotherapy, and dance and movement psychotherapy. This diverse skill set, combined with my empathetic approach, allows me to offer a holistic perspective that fosters meaningful contributions to clients' mental health journeys.
I firmly believe that therapy should be a personalised journey, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. With a deep understanding that every person is different, I approach therapy with a commitment to creating a safe and empathetic space where clients can feel truly understood and listened to. My practice is founded on the principle of seeing the person behind the challenges they face, and I strive to foster an environment of trust and collaboration, where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences with honesty and without judgement.
