About
Hi there, my name is Zoe,
I am incredibly passionate about self-exploration, allowing ourselves to feel our feelings (even the uncomfortable ones!) and developing a deeper self-awareness, to help us feel more connected to our most authentic self.
Life’s challenges can be overwhelming and in my role as a therapist, I ensure a safe, non-judgemental space for us to explore how things have been for you and consider how we can support you to move forward.
I am a fully qualified integrative therapist with over 7 years’ experience, and a British Isles trained dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) therapist. I have recently qualified as a clinical supervisor and have a previous background working within community mental health services, as well as employee assistance programme (EAP) work and supporting both public and private sectors. I support people with a wide range of presenting issues and I adopt an integrative approach, which enables us to explore and utilise the benefits of person-centred therapy (PCT), psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy and transactional analysis. I am a qualified critical incident de-briefer and incorporate a trauma-informed approach within my therapeutic work. I am also trained as an autism diagnostic observation schedule (ADOS-2) examiner, and am trained in autism assessments.
I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
