Glasgow’s mental health treatment programme provides established, evidence-based treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and bipolar disorder.

You’ll also benefit from access to our dedicated peer supporter network. Will I get my own room?

Yes, you will get your own bedroom.

All rooms are single, en-suite and are comfortably furnished with a flat screen TV, DVD player and a nurse call button.

How do mealtimes work?

At Priory Hospital Glasgow, there are three meals per day.

Breakfast can be arranged when you wake up, lunchtime runs from 11:45am to 1pm, and evening meals are available between 5pm and 6pm.

We can cater to all dietary requirements, but patients are not permitted to bring their own food into hospital, unless this is arranged as part of their therapeutic programme.

Can I have visitors?

Visiting

Priory Hospital Glasgow welcomes visitors during visiting hours. Visitors are not permitted during therapeutic hours and must leave by 10pm.

Depending on your treatment programme schedule, you can liaise with nursing staff to arrange visiting times.

We also hold a carer and family support group at the hospital.

Leave

Clients on the addiction treatment programme are not normally permitted leave during treatment. However, this can be discussed with your care team.

Clients who are being treated within our mental health treatment programmes are able to leave for therapeutic reasons. All such leave must be authorised by a consultant first.

What if I'm in crisis?
