Bluestone Lane is a supported living service, which offers support for eight adults who are autistic or have a learning disability, who may also have physical disabilities. We can also support people under community Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
Bluestone Lane is located in the small town of Immingham. We are situated in the heart of the community, off a busy main road. Our specialist support is ensures that tenants can live their lives to the fullest, empowering them to try new experiences and enhance their life skills.
Our home forms part of Priory Supported Living Lincolnshire, and falls within the North East Lincolnshire local authority area. The service is managed by Inclusion Housing, a housing provider.

About our service
Our facilities and environment
There are two bungalows at the home, with four tenants in each. All the rooms are on the ground floor of the property, which has been purpose-built for people with physical disabilities. Each bungalow has its own sensory room.
Communal areas include:
- Lounge
- Dining room
- Communal wet room
- Garden
- A fully equipped utility room, complete with laundry facilities
- Sensory room
We also have assistive technology within the home, including a key code system on the front door, all kitchens having adjustable worktops, ceiling hoists fitted in each of the bedrooms and within each of the sensory rooms, and sensory lighting and equipment for tenants.
Our bedrooms
All of our bedrooms are comfortable, welcoming and can be personalised to individual tastes. Our bedrooms have:
- Their own wash basin
- Wheelchair access
Parking
We offer free on-site parking for visitors and families at the front of both bungalows, including mobility-adapted cars.
Our approach to support
Everybody who lives at Bluestone Lane has their own person-centred support plan, which is co-produced with input from the individual, their family members and professionals.
We aim to enable each tenant to make their own choices about the support they receive. This may include support in a number of areas, such as maintaining a tenancy, personal care, and support with household tasks such as budgeting, shopping, and domestic tasks.
Our support approaches at Bluestone Lane include positive behaviour support (PBS), and we can also offer outreach packages. In addition, our team receive specialist staff training, bespoke to the needs of each individual we support. This includes:
- Epilepsy training
- Diabetes management training
- Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) training
- PBS training
Activities
Everyone who lives at Bluestone Lane is supported to pursue their own interests and hobbies, both in and outside the home, and are encouraged to take part in activities which are meaningful and fulfilling to them.
We focus on supporting tenants to grow their independence. For some people, this may mean developing their daily living skills within their home. For others, this could be accessing work or educational opportunities in the local community.
Our activities include:
- Everyday trips out
- Bowling
- Swimming
- Going on holidays
- Aromatherapy with a therapy dog
Pathways
Through our network of healthcare, residential and supported living facilities, we provide unique care pathways which enable the people we support to progress towards greater independence. Every individual we support is provided with a bespoke pathway plan, tailored according to their individual needs. We aim to ensure that each person is supported to live a fulfilling and active life in the community.

I love to see how our staff team go the extra mile to give our tenants new opportunities. For example, we have supported people to go to concerts and engage in the local community by entering in gardening competitions.
