About this location
Preston Avenue is a supported living service, offering support to three adults who have a learning disability, are on the autism spectrum, or have mental health needs.
We have two properties which are located in Newport, in Wales and form part of Priory Supported Living South Wales. They fall within the Newport City Council local authority area and are managed by Inclusion Housing, the housing provider.
Our specialist support enables people to live happy, independent and fulfilling lives, within the community. At Preston Avenue, we are committed to reflecting the guidance of The Reach Standards in everything we do. This means we work with our tenants to ensure they receive the right support to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Our approach to support
Everybody who lives at Preston Avenue has their own person-centred support plan, which is co-produced with input from the individual, their family members, and professionals.
We aim to enable each tenant to make their own choices about the support they receive. This may include support in a number of areas, such as cooking, cleaning, managing finances, medication management, reintegrating back into the community, and support with how to maintain a tenancy.
In addition, our team receive specialist staff training, bespoke to the needs of each individual we support.
Activities
Everyone who lives at Preston Avenue is supported to pursue their own interests and hobbies, both in and outside the home, and are encouraged to take part in activities which are meaningful and fulfilling to them. Examples of this include attending college, work experience and going on day trips.
Pathways
Through our network of healthcare, residential and supported living facilities, we provide unique care pathways which enable the people we support to progress towards greater independence.
