This may include support in a number of areas, such as maintaining a tenancy, personal care, independent living skills, support with work placements, maintaining relationships with family and friends, maintaining emotional and physical wellbeing, booking and attending health appointments, and support with day-to-day tasks such as managing finances, shopping and domestic chores.
In addition, our team receives specialist staff training, bespoke to the needs of each individual we support. This includes:
- Epilepsy awareness training
- Dysphasia training
- Diabetes management training
Activities
Everyone who lives at Suffolk Road is supported to pursue their own interests and hobbies, both in and outside the home, and are encouraged to take part in activities which are meaningful and fulfilling to them.
We focus on supporting tenants to grow their independence. For some people, this may mean developing their daily living skills within their home. For others, this could be accessing work or educational opportunities in the local community.
