MEDIAN Group is set on growth - new CEO, Philipp-Schulte-Noelle, and CFO, Matthias Oehmicke, build on strong foundations

MEDIAN Group’s new structure comes into effect as of 1 July 2024, with Philipp Schulte-Noelle assuming the role of MEDIAN Group Chief Executive Office (CEO) – succeeding Dr. André M. Schmidt, who will join the MEDIAN Group Advisory Council.
Since September 2023, Philipp Schulte-Noelle has been Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) and, since January 2024, Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The new CFO, Matthias Ohemicke, will join MEDIAN Group from 1 July working across territories in Germany, the UK and Spain. As a result MEDIAN Group management team is now complete consisting of: the Group CEO and the CEOs of subsidiary companies, Priory, MEDIAN Germany and Hestia.

Matthias Ohemicke was most recently CFO and board member of Grillo-Werke AG, a technology company specialising in the processing of zinc and sulfur. Previously, he served as CEO and CFO for logistics company F.H. Bertling Group, and worked as CFO and Managing Director at a subsidiary of Freudenberg Chemical Specialties, including in Spain, as well as at the consulting firms PWC and KPMG.
